We wanted to have Gaye Ln listed for sale by July 1. Ha!! Here it is August and we still have lots of projects to do. But we have made some progress so a few before and after pictures are in order.
BEFORE – little bath.
This bathroom is located right next to the master bedroom.
Remove popcorn ceiling and wallpaper, paint, tile floor and new vanity. Notice the chrome (very cheap) sconce lamps. I spray painted them with Rust-O-Leum forged hammered Burnished Amber and I replaced the glass sconce.
My husband ripped out this old flooring, laid a new sub floor and tiled.
AFTER – little bath. We still have to put the drawer in the vanity, but so close. Still need mirror and a few more things.
Little bath after we added all the little bits and accessories
Here is the lighting after I spray painted. Somehow the spray paint finish actually looks hammered.
I have almost used up en entire bottle of this spray.
Here are some brass (some are fake brass) they have rusted over the years. I sand them a little to get the rust off and rough up the surface. I stick screws in a fit of foam.
Here they are after they are painted. They actually look even better than this photo.
BEFORE – Vanity
AFTER – Vanity
We bought a new top for the vanity with sink and faucet but used the old bottom and painted it to match the trim color. I spray painted the knobs with my trusty spray paint.
